Installation tips
Step 1: Check the Hinge Handing
*If you choose the wrong handed hinge, the door will drop instead of rise*
Step 2: Mark the Hinge Positions
For most doors, place hinges:
Top hinge: 150–200 mm from top of door
Bottom hinge: 200–250 mm from bottom
Step 3: Create the Mortises
Use a chisel to carefully remove material until the hinge leaf sits perfectly flush with the surface.
Step 4: Install the Frame Leaf
Position the hinge leaf onto the mortise in the door frame.
Make sure the curved rising part is oriented correctly—upward rise when opening.
Step 5: Install the Door Leaf
Step 6: Hang the Door and Test Movement
Close the door and check the side gaps.
Open the door fully — it should rise smoothly as it swings.
Make adjustments if:
The door scrapes
The rise is uneven
The door doesn’t self-close
You may need to adjust screw positions or slightly deepen the mortise.
Step 7: Final Checks
